Our deliveries

Delivery notice, June 2022

As you will no doubt be aware, fuel prices have increased dramatically in recent weeks, and are set to rise further in the coming weeks, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the ongoing war in Ukraine. We have looked at alternative transport options, such as electric vehicles, but unfortunately there are currently no vans on the market that meet our requirements (we hope this will change in the near future). Over the years, we have taken pride in being able to offer free delivery to our customers, however it is becoming more and more difficult to do this in a sustainable way and we have therefore taken the difficult decision to make a slight change to our delivery charges. From Monday the 4th of July 2022, we will continue to provide free delivery for orders over £30, however orders under £30 will incur a charge of £2.50. This change will not affect the majority of our customers, and we would like to thank those of you who are affected for your understanding.

We currently only deliver to certain areas of Scotland. Please see the map below for details of our current delivery area (N.B. we are continually expanding our delivery area so if your location is not currently covered please do get in touch and we will contact you when delivery becomes available.)

We realise how important it is to keep to a routine and so we allocate a day and 3-hour time window for your meals to be delivered. We deliver to all areas on a weekly basis so you can rely on us to be there when you need us. Please check the map below to find out when we deliver to your area, alternatively get in touch by phone, email or through our contact page and we will provide details of your delivery timeslot.

Our drivers

All of our drivers are carefully selected so that you have complete peace of mind that your meals will be delivered by somebody friendly, caring and trustworthy. You will have a regular delivery driver each week (unless they are on holiday of course!) so you can expect to see the friendly face of somebody you know and trust. We also ensure that our drivers wear a uniform displaying the Blueberry Hill logo so that you can easily identify them. This way, our drivers are able to build up a rapport with our customers and can deliver your meals in a way that suits you.

If you have any particular delivery requirements please do let us know and we will try to accommodate wherever possible. Examples of things we can do are: placing meals directly in the freezer (we will also rotate your meals already in the freezer to ensure nothing gets lost at the back), we can use Key Safes to access the property with your permission, we will leave the meals in a designated safe place if required, and drivers can assist with the completion of order forms for future orders.

This is by no means an exhaustive list so please do contact us to discuss any other requirements.
